We are Feyeso and Kamerya, and our family lives in Blaine, Minnesota. We have a nice, split-level home with a large yard in a quiet neighborhood. The available bedroom is located on the lower level with a shared bathroom. Having moved from Ethiopia, we understand major life transitions. We can confidently welcome somebody into our home and will do our best to help that person in realizing their dreams, whatever those may be.
Our family is large and consists of two adult children, one in high school, and two elementary-aged children. Our family enjoys spending time together, watching TV, reading, playing video games and chatting.
We also love to spend time outside when the weather is nice. We enjoy helping our children with homework in the evenings, and then sharing a meal together. On the weekends we often go to the Blaine YMCA, out to eat, or to sporting events.
Feyeso and Kamerya work mostly opposite schedules and can ensure that someone is home to provide supports 24/7. Feyeso has attended nursing school and speaks five languages. We spend a lot of time with our African community, consisting of friends and extended family. Our family appreciates spending time together and embracing our Ethiopian culture. We have strong, family-oriented values and highly believe in including everyone as part of life’s routine.
