We are a purpose-built new home for medically stable younger adults with severe and permanent brain injuries who need full care and are not likely to progress above the minimally conscious state. Granite House has a full-time nurse but does not provide 24-hour nursing care. Our caregivers do passive range of motion but we are not a rehabilitation facility for those with goals of independence. Families are important to us and we have gathering areas and on-site programs for them to join in, such as music therapy.
